Senior Consulting Manager, Compensation & Benefits Design

Lead the design of compensation structures, job architecture, and total rewards programs for client organizations, from market benchmarking through executive and Board-level presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of compensation structures, salary banding, and job architecture for client organizations
- Conduct market benchmarking and pay equity analysis across geographies and industries
- Design incentive, bonus, and long-term reward programs aligned to business strategy
- Advise clients on benefits harmonization, particularly in M&A and multi-country contexts
- Present compensation philosophy and structure recommendations to executive leadership and Boards
- Manage relationships with compensation data providers and benchmarking platforms
- Lead compensation-related workstreams within broader HR transformation engagements
- Support business development for compensation and total rewards engagements
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 6–8 years of consulting experience in compensation and benefits, ideally at a tier-one consulting firm
- Multi-industry consulting experience (mandatory)
- Experience in international, multi-country compensation design (highly preferred)
- MBA (highly preferred)
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar, plus Prosci or CCMP (highly preferred)
- Strong communication skills across all leadership levels, including C-suite and Board
- Prior business development experience as part of consulting assignments (required)
- Willingness to relocate internationally during client assignments
- Fluency in French or Spanish (preferred)
- Compensation commensurate with experience
